Welcome To Our Society

We the people of Upper Subansiri district, Arunachal Pradesh and well wishers having solemnly resolve to form a society called “ CHIKOM PATHE WELFARE ASSOCIATION (SOCIETY)” for all round economic upliftment of the mass, to make concerted efforts for the welfare and development of downtrodden group of the society by means of proper education, health imparting skills in the fields of agro-industry, handicrafts and handloom (traditional) for self employment, the society has established, manage and operate hostels, orphanage, rescue homes, for widows, old or helpless persons and to render assistance to such institution established by others. The elected executive members have unanimously resolved to do close co-operation, guidance and active participation in the field of welfare activities.

Aim & Object Of The Society

All round economic upliftment of the mass.

To make concerted efforts for the welfare and development of the downtrodden group of the society by means of proper education, health, imparting skills in the field of Agro Industry,Handicrafts & Handloom (Traditional) for self employment.

To launch mass awareness campaign to make people the people aware to set up co-operative agro based to exploit the un-utilized resources.

To organise training/workshop on the organic farming in the area.

The society has establish, manage and operate hostels, orphanages, rescue homes for widow, old or helpless persons and to render assistance to such institution established by others.

The Society has delegates and send representatives to National and International Conference and Training etc. in various Social and Welfare activities of Child, Women and Youth development etc.

The Society has help/assist the poor villages, so that they help themselves i.e during illness, natural calamities, fire accident etc.

The society has promoted research , development and adaptation of technology to improve the life, working conditions and opportunities for gainful employment of women especially in rural areas.

To encourage games and sports; establish outdoor and indoor stadium, swimming pools, gymnasium and other sports infrastructure.

To organize various activities among the children and youth of Arunachal Pradesh to cultivate human and national spirit in them.

To provide and facilitate programmes such as family welfare, non-formal adult education, sanitation, housing, drinking water etc. for welfare of the people is including health care.

To promote services like agriculture, horticulture, floriculture and industries base on them including food processing, ware housing, cold storage, food park and other allied activities.

To facilitate for economic revitalisation of the rural specially the poor farmers, widows, orphans and landless labourer with creation of community hall, working women hostel, youth hostel, old age homes, orphanages etc.

To undertake pollution control projects, energy and soil conservation, wasteland improvement, water management, people’s education in science and technology in line with modern living.

To promote, preserve and propagate science, art, culture & tradition of tribal people of Arunachal Pradesh including its documentation, research etc.
